Work directly with Rice Rafferty to design the veil/fascinator of your dreams.

This is a custom wedding flower organza hair clip we designed for a bride in Buffalo.  She wanted something simple with some versatility.  You can wear this flower in your hair, with a veil, or clip it on a ribbon sash (like we did above). This way you can enjoy your adornment even after your big day.  We LOVE options.

Email us your photo inspiration and ideas. We will help you select the materials: beads, brooches, feathers, flowers, and veiling that work best with your dress. We can also incorporate your treasured vintage brooch or other item and make a family heirloom. Couture designed at affordable prices.

Custom Feather Peacock Birdcage Veil

We're so excited to share these photos!  Check out our custom birdcage veil on the gorgeous bride who got married in Buffalo, NY at the historic and newly renovated Hotel at the Lafayette.  We made the veil from white feathers, bleached peacock feathers, ivory russian veiling, and a vintage rhinestone pin.  The really fun thing about this veil is it's versatile. You can wear it as a blusher birdcage for the ceremony, then simply take the veil off, wrap the russian netting into a circle (like a nest) and pin it back with bobby pins in your hair as a fascinator.

Isn't she beautiful?!

Custom Ivory Flower Hair Adornment

We've been busy bees working in our studios for brides in the Buffalo, NY area.  Above is our work in progress for a bride who wanted a unique floral element for her hair.  We are making an ivory organza flower with a little bling, some pearls in the middle, and next we're going to add some wispy feathers.  Handmade flowers made in chiffon or organza can be created in any shade or size.  The great thing about these flowers is you can clip it in your hair to wear to wear with your veil or alone, pin it on a dress on a later date, or clip it on a sash and wear as a belt.  We love versatility.

We want our accessories to be items you can enjoy years to come.  Enjoy them on your wedding day and on other special occasions.

Custom Veils

We were recently contacted by a friend of mine who noticed my mother and I make wedding veils.  She said she loves our designs, her friend is getting married in Oct....only problem is she is bald.  She asked if we would still be interested.  I immediately responded, "absolutely!"

Ladies who are bald often worry the most about the wedding veil.  We've been working up some really creative design ideas for women who are bald. Whether you're going to wear a wig or would prefer to no wig we're here to assist.  Custom orders have become our specialty and we're here to accommodate any of our customer's design needs.  Wedding veils are so unique these days.  There are dozens of different styles to choose from.  Please feel free to contact us if you're interested in a custom wedding veil.  We're serving Erie and Fairfield County.

Favorite Veil

This is one of our most popular birdcage veils.  I call it a double blusher veil and I've found it's one of the most easy to wear veils.  After your ceremony you simply pull back the blusher and it becomes a second layer in the back.

The photo was taken by the photographer Jessica Elizabeth.  She's a young talent in Buffalo, NY.  She specializes in weddings, portraits, fashion, and parties.  If you're interested in her photography you can contact me for her information.

Trash the Dress

We recently purchased this '80s wedding gown from Goodwill.   We wanted to dismantle the dress and up cycle the pieces into necklaces, hair adornments, garters, etc.  Before we started our own version of "trash the dress" we decided to take a photo of the dress.  It's funny how quickly wedding industry trends change.  In the '80s and '90s the more beads, sequins, and poofs the better.  The dress was actually pretty heavy too.  I wouldn't be surprised if it was 20 lbs or more.  Today, I feel simplicity is key.  Let your own natural beauty shine instead of adding lace on lace on every part of you.  We'll post more pics soon!
xoxo

WARNING!  If you decided to trash the dress do not go in the water.  In the news there was a woman who did this recently and she died, so please be careful!
